Ingredients

1 rinse

Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe

2 oz

Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey

³⁄₄ oz

Cocchi Vermouth di Torino

¹⁄₄ oz

Heering Cherry Liqueur (Cherry Heering)

¹⁄₄ oz

G.E. Massenez Kirsch Vieux Cherry Brandy

2 dash

Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe

lemon twist as garnish

Stir it Up

1. Rinse Nick & Nora glass with absinthe
2. Stir all ingredients with ice
3. Strain into glass
4. Garnish with lemon twist

Notes & Review

A drink that gets better as you go, but the flavor was a bit too bitter and it doesn't beat the classic Manhattan, which is simpler to make and easier to enjoy.
