Ingredients
- 1 rinse
- Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe
- 2 oz
- Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey
- 3⁄4 oz
- Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
- 1⁄4 oz
- Heering Cherry Liqueur (Cherry Heering)
- 1⁄4 oz
- G.E. Massenez Kirsch Vieux Cherry Brandy
- 2 dash
- Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe
- 1
- lemon twist as garnish
Stir it Up
- Rinse Nick & Nora glass with absinthe
- Stir all ingredients with ice
- Strain into glass
- Garnish with lemon twist
Notes & Review
A drink that gets better as you go, but the flavor was a bit too bitter and it doesn't beat the classic Manhattan, which is simpler to make and easier to enjoy.
