Coupe
Ingredients
- 1 oz
- Plymouth Gin
- 3⁄4 oz
- Cointreau
- 1⁄2 oz
- Luxardo Maraschino Originale Liqueur
- 1⁄2 oz
- lemon juice
- sparkling white wine to top off
Shake it Up
- Shake all ingredients (except sparkling wine) with ice
- Strain into coupe
- Top with sparkling wine
Notes & Review
On the verge of cloyingly sweet, but has its merits. The coupe we used was on the small side; a bit more sparkling wine would have made this drink a bit better, but there was no room. The Luxardo Maraschino is definitely very present, so if you like that flavor, you should like this cocktail.
Note, a dry Champagne or sparkling wine should be used.
