Double Rocks
Ingredients
- 2 oz
- Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
- 1⁄2 oz
- Cruzan Single Barrel Rum
- 1⁄2 oz
- lemon juice
- 1 tsp
- vanilla syrup
- 1⁄2 oz
- heavy cream
- 1 dash
- Death & Co House Orange Bitters
- 1
- nutmeg as garnish
Shake it Up
- Short shake all ingredients with 3 ice cubes
- Strain into double rocks glass filled with crushed ice
- Grate nutmeg on top; serve with a straw
Notes & Review
A fun, creamy and delicious cocktail. It could use a tiny bit more orange flavor and maybe a tad extra sweetener to get closer to the real thing, but maybe it's better to not be too close to the overly sugary original. I'd like to try it with a tart orange juice instead next time. And maybe some whipped cream on top just because.
