Ingredients

1¹⁄₂ oz

Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey

¹⁄₂ oz

Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Bourbon

¹⁄₂ oz

Warre's Otima 10 Tawny Port

¹⁄₂ oz

Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth

1 tsp

Campari

1 tsp

Marie Brizard Cacao Blanc White Crème de Cacao

orange twist as garnish

Stir it Up

1. Stir all ingredients over ice
2. Strain into coupe
3. Garnish with orange twist

Notes & Review

I made this with Elijah Craig instead of the Stagg Jr. but I'm guessing the taste is very similar (although the latter might have a bit more kick since it's Barrel Proof). The mouthfeel on this is thick and luscious. It's delicious. A drink you want to savor into the wee hours of the morning. The Carpano, port, vermouth and creme de cacao add a lot of complexity that really make this cocktail much more than a sum of its parts.
