Ingredients

2 oz
London Dry gin
12 oz
crème de mûre blackberry liqueur
1 oz
lemon juice
12 oz
simple syrup
2
blackberry as garnish
1
lemon wheel as garnish

Shake it Up

  1. Shake all ingredients (except the crème de mûre) with ice
  2. Strain into double rocks glass filled with crushed ice, with a mound at top
  3. Add more ice if necessary, and pour the crème de mûre over the top
  4. Garnish with two blackberries and a lemon wheel on a cocktail pick
  5. Serve with a straw

Notes & Review

Tart, tangy and cold, this is a great afternoon cocktail on a hot day. Very similar to many other gin sours out there, but the crushed ice and pour-over crème de mûre add enough spunk to make this a unique-enough keeper.
