Death & Co pecan-infused Buffalo Trace Bourbon

Ingredients

2 c
pecan halves
1
salt
1
pepper
1
ground cayenne pepper
750 mL
Buffalo Trace Bourbon

Directions

  1. Soak pecan halves in water for 20 minutes
  2. Strain pecans and spread on a baking sheet
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne
  4. Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally and being careful not to burn the pecans
  5. Let cool to room temperature
  6. Combine pecans and bourbon in a container and stir well
  7. Let rest at room temperature for 1 week, stirring occasionally
  8. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve
