Ingredients

1 oz

Tanqueray No. Ten Gin

1 oz

Bols Genever

¹⁄₂ oz

Grand Marnier

¹⁄₂ tsp

cane sugar syrup

1 dash

Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel-Aged Bitters

1

lemon twist as garnish

Stir it Up

1. Stir all ingredients over ice
2. Strain into rocks glass
3. Garnish with lemon twist

Notes & Review

Boozy with a hint of citrus + sweet and some complexity and depth from the barrel-aged bitters and Bols Genever. Lingers in your mouth with a syrupy feel, a slight tingle and some sweet from the syrup. The Bols Genever is not my favorite, definitely a unique (and acquired?) taste. The bitters play well with the lemon and orange from Grand Marnier. A drink I could only have one of.
