Spicy Paloma

kosher salt for rim
2 oz
jalapeño-infused Siembra Azul Blanco Tequila
1 oz
grapefruit juice
34 oz
lime juice
12 oz
simple syrup
club soda to top off
lime wheel as garnish

Shake it Up

  1. Rim highball glass with kosher salt
  2. Shake all ingredients (except club soda) with ice
  3. Strain into highball glass filled with ice
  4. Top with club soda
  5. Garnish with lime wheel; serve with a straw

Notes & Review

Refreshing and delicious. High-quality citrus is paramount here. It's well-balanced between the lime and grapefruit although some might prefer to add a bit more grapefruit and less lime (maybe 1 1/4 and 1/2, respectively) to make it more "Paloma-ish". The jalapeño flavor and kick makes this drink even more special. Great for brunch or a hot summer day.
