simple syrup
1 oz
The Famous Grouse Scotch
12 oz
Laphroaig 10-Year Scotch
12 oz
Green Chartreuse
34 oz
lime juice
mint sprig as garnish

Shake it Up

  1. Gently muddle mint leaves and simple syrup in a shaker
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake over ice
  3. Double strain into a double rocks glass with one large ice cube
  4. Garnish with mint sprig

Notes & Review

Minty, with a vegetal and herbaceous quality, some smoke and funk from the Scotch, and a hint of sweetness. Comes together really beautifully.
