Ingredients

1 oz
Smith & Cross Traditional Jamaica Rum
1 oz
Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
1 oz
Campari
1
orange twist as garnish

Stir it Up

  1. Stir all ingredients over ice
  2. Strain into double rocks glass
  3. Garnish with orange twist

Notes & Review

Smith & Cross is strong at 57% ABV and Carpano tries its best to tame it but it still comes through pretty boldly. It's a nice cocktail for those who enjoy rum but I'd prefer a classic Negroni most days. The aftertaste was a bit metallic to me, maybe overly bitter.
