312 oz
dried hibiscus flower
2 c
superfine sugar


  1. Bring water to boil in saucepan
  2. Remove pan from heat and stir in dried hibiscus flowers
  3. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes
  4. Strain through cheesecloth-lined sieve and return to saucepan
  5. Stir in superfine sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, without bringing to a boil, until sugar is dissolved
