blueberry syrup

Ingredients

5 c
blueberry
1 c
sugar
1 c
water
2 tbsp
apple cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine blueberries, sugar and water in a saucepan
  2. Crush the blueberries with a potato masher
  3. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer and stir occasionally for 15 minutes
  4. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve, pressing the berries to extract as much as possible
  5. Return strained liquid to pan and simmer for another 10 minutes
  6. Stir in apple cider vinegar and simmer for two more minutes
